This 5-star hotel is an adults-only oasis nestled between the popular villages of Portofino and Cinque Terre. The couple fell in love with this resort and its two ancient villas overlooking the sea. Along with their nine guests, Annie and William rented out one entire villa for their wedding week celebration.
On the morning of their big day, Annie and her bridal party began the festivities with a pool party! This fun and relaxing event was the perfect way to start the day. Afterward, Annie and her girls headed back to their suites to get ready for the afternoon ceremony.
A Ceremony Filled with Bright Florals
Annie and William’s ceremony took place right on the property of Villa Riviera Resort in a stunning private area perched above the sea. The ceremony began with Annie’s elegant and emotional entrance down the staircase. William excitedly waited at the altar, surrounded by a bold, colorful floral arch that matched the bride’s bouquet.
During the symbolic ceremony, Monica served as the celebrant and shared some heartwarming words with the couple. Annie and William then exchanged loving vows with each other before sealing the deal with a kiss! As the newlyweds walked back down the aisle, they were showered with colorful flower petals.
After capturing some gorgeous photos around the resort, the couple joined their guests for a champagne toast and some delicious canapés.
A Celebratory Dinner in Sestri Levante
Next, it was time for the couple and their guests to head to Sestri Levante in a private van arranged by Leoeventi. This chic coastal village was the ideal spot for a romantic dinner celebration by the sea.
Before enjoying the tasty Italian cuisine with their guests, the couple split off from the group for a few more photos on the beach. Strolling along the shoreline during sunset, their photographer captured some breathtaking photos of Annie and William.
Finally, it was time to kick back and celebrate! The sweet couple rejoined their guests for dinner, and to their surprise, Monica arranged to have their table directly on the beach! As their wedding day came to an end, Annie and William were overjoyed with how wonderful the entire celebration was.
