An amazing sunny day was the perfect background for a romantic seaside wedding in Italy. When we met Francesco and Cristina in Milan for the first time they were ecstatic at the idea of finally making their dream come true and they had only one big wish: getting married overlooking the sea in the Italian Riviera. Therefore we set out to find a venue with the most romantic sea view and in the end the choice went to a gorgeous venue on the border between Liguria and Tuscany in the “Golfo dei Poeti” (the Poets’ Gulf): we couldn’t pick a more romantic name, really!
This stunning villa with its enchanting green gardens facing the Gulf of Lerici was the perfect choice: our couple and their guests coming from different areas of Italy and also from abroad were mesmerized by it. The guests at the wedding really appreciated the idea of Francesco and Cristina to move away from the chaos of Milan and chose a venue by the sea for their wedding. The planning was also made easier by our support in arranging the accommodation and transportation of the guests; for a group of them we also organized a bus ride.
The colour theme chosen for this romantic seaside wedding in Italy was a delicate lilac shade combined with the classic white: the flower arch for the ceremony, the petals on the floor and the table centrepieces were a rich display of lisianthus, roses, hydrangeas, calla lilies and anthuriums. Throughout the day Cristina the bride couldn’t stop praising the work of our florist team who really managed to capture her wishes and taste perfectly. The photographs taken with “reportage” style by one of our most qualified photographers are indeed the best way to convey the beautiful work done on that day.
The whole day was accompanied by the musical notes of a very talented string trio: following the request of the couple they even personalized the score of the famous song “Viva La Vida” by Coldplay to make their seaside wedding even more special and unique.
“What a wonderful day!” this was the comment of the Bride and Groom at the end of the party, which we really appreciated: when our couples are happy, we are happy! The couple then said goodbye to their guests the day after: to give a perfect ending to the celebrations week-end we also arranged a lovely brunch on the terrace of a local hotel, a great occasion for guests to meet and relax after the big day.
