How to reach Capri:
The easiest way to reach Capri is to arrive in Naples and then take the ferry to Capri island. Naples is easily reachable by high-speed train and plane from the main Italian cities. Overseas direct flights (i.e. from United States or Australia) arrive in Rome or Milan.
If you arrive from Piazza Garibaldi Railway Station, the underground (line 1) will take you in two stops to the “Municipio” stop (direction Piscinola) a stone’s throw from Molo Beverello where you will have to embark.
If you arrive at Naples airport, you have to exit at Terminal 1 where the Alibus leaves, a bus that connects you to the Beverello pier. The journey is 40 minutes.
You can also reach the ferry departure area by taxi both from the railway station and the airport
It is possible to reach Marina Piccola (the port of Capri) from Sorrento. The journey from Sorrento to Capri is particularly beautiful.
