An Emotional Catholic Ceremony at This Beautiful Amalfi Coast Elopement
Jasmine and Eric, a lovely couple from the US, were very intentional about keeping their day focused on what matters most to them– their love for each other and their devotion to God. They ditched the extensive guest list, over-the-top decorations, and all the other wedding fluff to create a day that was truly special to them.
Sometimes, less is more. At this Amalfi Coast elopement, that was definitely the case.
Since both Jasmine and Eric are part of religious families from Miami, they prioritized having a catholic ceremony above all else at their wedding. However, they quickly came to find that planning a catholic ceremony in Italy as foreign citizens was not as easy as they expected.
Luckily, Leoeventi was there to help! With the assistance of Leoeventi’s founder, Monica, and her assistant, Angela, the couple completed the extensive list of Italian documents with ease. Thanks to Angela’s expertise in planning religious weddings, they were also able to find an English-speaking priest to perform their ceremony.

When it came to location, Jasmine and Hosvlado were set on the Amalfi Coast. With its colorful seaside villages, breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea, and picturesque cliffs, it’s no wonder they fell in love with this destination. With the help of Monica, the couple was able to reserve the dreamiest church for their ceremony- the historic Collegiate Santa Maria Maddalena in Atrani.
This past May, it was finally time for Jasmine and Hosvlado to head to Italy for their Amalfi Coast elopement. On their wedding day, the couple got ready at their hotel in Ravello- one of the Amalfi Coast’s most gorgeous villages. Since they really wanted to do a first look, Jasmine and Hosvlado headed to the ceremony separately. This made for a sweet, intimate moment when they first saw each other in front of the church.
During the ceremony, Jasmine and Eric said their vows with their two closest friends by their sides. The couple’s heartfelt promises to each other, the priest’s meaningful speech, and the gorgeous atmosphere of the church made this a beautiful, emotional ceremony.

Afterward, the newlyweds wandered around Ravello for a photoshoot. Jasmine’s classic white rose bouquet, stunning dress, and flowing veil all perfectly complemented the Amalfi Coast’s natural beauty. With the warm sun shining and the blue sea sparkling in the background, their photographer was able to capture the loveliest wedding photos for them!
Ending their special day with a romantic dinner at a seaside restaurant, Jasmine and Eric couldn’t stop smiling about how perfect their elopement was!
