Three months later, Melania and Nelson flew from the US to Italy for their Lake Como wedding. Starting their day at the exclusive 5-star Grand Hotel Tremezzo, the couple got ready in style as the talented photographer began capturing their big day.
Villa Carlotta and Villa Monastero
After some photos around the stunning grounds of the Grand Hotel Tremezzo, Melania and Nelson boarded a sleek wooden boat for a quick boat ride to Villa Carlotta. Now serving as a museum and botanical garden, this expansive villa has a rich history. During their photoshoot there, Melania and Nelson were able to experience all of Villa Carlotta’s charm and beauty.
Grinning from ear to ear, the couple hopped on the boat again and headed to the most important stop of the day- Villa Monastero. With its perfectly manicured gardens, immaculate architecture, and breathtaking view of Lake Como, Villa Monastero is an exceptional venue choice for a Lake Como wedding.
Emotional Symbolic Ceremony
With Lake Como in the background, the ceremony began on one of the villa’s lovely terraces. Monica served as the celebrant and prepared a heartwarming speech to officiate their symbolic ceremony. Melania and Nelson then shared their emotional personal vows with each other. To conclude the ceremony, the couple lit a unity candle to symbolize the joining of their lives and their bright future as one. Romantic, emotional, and meaningful- their symbolic ceremony was everything a wedding should be.
While heading back to the Grand Hotel Tremezzo after the ceremony, Melania and Nelson enjoyed their final boat ride with a champagne toast. Although they were sad that their special day was coming to an end, the couple was excited about the rest of their trip around Italy for their honeymoon!
