After our initial conversation with Lia and Jonny, a young couple from Miami, one thing was clear; their ultimate dream was to spend their wedding day at Villa del Balbianello. Because of Leoeventi’s expertise in planning Lake Como elopements, this couple’s dream would soon become a reality!
This past August, Lia and Jonny arrived in Lake Como for their intimate destination wedding. Starting their day at a hotel in Bellagio, the couple got ready and took some individual photographs before taking separate boats to their ceremony at the Tremezzina Gardens.
The lovely sound of a violin played as Leoeventi’s founder Monica began officiating the couple’s symbolic ceremony. With the breathtaking lake in the background, Lia and Jonny shared their heartfelt personal vows to each other in front of their four guests.
Visiting Villa del Balbianello
Once the ceremony had concluded, it was time for the moment Lia and Jonny had been waiting for! The newlyweds headed to the enchanted Villa del Balbianello via boat for a romantic photoshoot. Pulling up to the villa, the couple was completely in awe of how incredible the property was!
While wandering around the property, Julia, the photographer, captured countless beautiful moments between the couple. All day, Lia and Jonny were grinning ear to ear and were so overjoyed that they had complete privacy and freedom to explore the gorgeous grounds of Villa del Balbianello. It was truly the perfect way to spend their wedding day!
As sad as it was for the couple to depart from Villa del Balbianello, it was time to celebrate with a delicious meal! Lia, Jonny, and their guests headed back to Bellagio for an incredible lunch arranged by Leoeventi.
